Please help. I’m trying to figure out what breed my hen is. I’m trying to pair her with my cream legbar roo. Would she be a good pair for him to produce an Olive egger? Thank you

I think I got her from our local feed store. Raised her since she was a little chick. I don’t remember what egg color but I’ll check later (I have over 30 chickens hard to keep up). Someone said she’s a barnevelder ,but another said golden laced.Where did you get her? Whether she produces olive eggers depends on her egg color.

If she is a barnevelder or wyandotte, her quality is pretty low (not saying that’s a bad thing- you should just be aware of it). Her pattern doesn’t really match a black sex link or any laced breeds. I’m not sure what to say other than that she’s a hatchery quality barnevelder.I think I got her from our local feed store. Raised her since she was a little chick. Thank you so much. I’m a little disappointedShe looks just like our black sex link pullet. I have no idea about the breeding side of it but that is what she is for sure!
Thank you so much. I’m a little disappointedI was hoping she’s a barnevelder but I think you’re right. She didn’t lay dark brown egg but her egg I’m sure will be fertilized. She’s my Roos favorite girl.
