What breed.... please!

Hello Everyone? Can you help me? What breed is my little chicken? She is quirky and sweet. I bought her with FBCM and black Ameraucana chicks. Week old chicks.

I would say a dorking mix.

Thank you.... I think she may be a tailed, tuftless Araucana. They do not have the breed you mention at this chicken farm. I saw her? sparring with a rooster..... I just hope she is a she.

When I bought her, I bought 9 week old chicks. Her and a black Ameraucana rooster, 7 FBCM. I thought in the beginning she was a black Ameraucana but as she grew I knew she was not. This man does have Araucanas on his farm.

Wrong leg color to be an Araucana. And Araucanas don't have tail feathers in the USA.

I was going to mention tailed Aracauana but her comb looked very pale like a dorkings'. So I went with that

She is a great chicken. My favorite actually. Quicker than the FBCMs.

Just read this in another thread so I am still hoping that she is Araucana.

Araucana can be:
- Tufted and Tailed
- Tufted and Partly Tailed
- Tufted and Rumpless
- Non Tufted and Tailed
- Non Tufted and Partly Tailed
- Non Tufted and Rumpless
If you are showing Araucana then you can only show Rumpless Araucana.
Many Breeders keep tailed Araucana in their flock to improve fertility as the Rumpless gene is thought to decrease fertility in the breed.
