Thank you for the input!I probably would do any of them except EE. EE are all over the place. I see people giving them away pretty often around here. But at the same time people love them for the egg colors. I'd look at your local area groups and see what people seem to want most often and that's what I'd breed. That way its an easy sell. Unless you're looking to sell hatching eggs and chicks online which then it opens a whole new world LOL
A bit bigger then Standard sized. Right now they maybe a the same size as standard until I add Saipan to the bloodline.Do you mean a regular sized silkie or a bigger than standard sized silkie?

Swedish flower so sweet. And so pretty! Basque hens have that same sweetness and they are incredibly socialThe crazy chicken lady is thinking of hatching again! I am already a silkie breeder (an avid one), but I still love my regular chickens as well. I've looked into getting a new roo and create a separate breeding pen for the new venture.
Options:
Black Copper Maran and Blue Copper Marans. I already have the maran roos and hens and wouldn't have to change anything in order to do this.
Easter Eggers. I would have to get a Easter Egger roo and 1 or 2 more hens AND have a separate coop.
Swedish Flower Hens. I would also have to get a roo and 1 or 2 more hens AND have a separate coop for this one as well.
Which one should I do if I end up doing this? I'm not totally committed yet but if I do what should I do?
I've never heard of a Basque!Swedish flower so sweet. And so pretty! Basque hens have that same sweetness and they are incredibly social
