What breed should I get?

Blue swede, khaki Campbell, mallard, Peking....I already have 4 muscovies and 2 pekings. I'm hoping for not too messy and have good temperaments.

I'm limited to the ones at the FS at the moment. Out if the breeds listed what are some opinions? I also need a quieter breed.

I have campbell's. I think they are very pretty. They are not really too loud. But, these are very nervous ducks. They come to me for treats but I don't think they will ever be lap ducks. Since you already have pekins why not get those. That way you would be more likely to get pure bred offspring. It is hard keeping them all separated. Pekins are suppose to be the best pets.

Blue Swede. They have good personalities and lay well. Plus they are awfully pretty to look at.

Campbells might be high strung if you get them from the wrong place. Pekins are well known for being noisy. Some mallards can fly.

Yea I'll probably not get mallards.... Hmm. How do khakis measure up size wise to pekins?

Campbells are about 4-5 pounds. Pekins are double that. Jumbo pekins weigh even more.
