• giveaway ENDS SOON! Cutest Baby Fowl Photo Contest: Win a Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Connect CLICK HERE!

What breed? There roughly 2 weeks old.

They're growing so fast, and cute! Yes, please post more photos. Each chick we need: One shot side-on showing the whole body including legs, tail, and comb. One head shot clearly showing the comb. One back shot, like from above looking down, so we can see the saddle feathers, if any, and the tail feathers again.
The white one is looking like a boy, though.
Ok.. that’s not terrible, just really hoping the black ones not due to the coloring.

Now that you mention it, yeah, possibly the black one is a boy, too. But don't take my word for it! LOL Get more pics and let's see what the pros say about it then. :)
This is the best I can do, I have to go do some stuff and I won’t be home till Sunday so I’ll get the very best pics I can Sunday. (Don’t worry, I have somebody taking good care of them.)

The combs are what's throwing me off. If I had to guess, maybe Columbian wyandotte for the white and black one? I am really having trouble seeing the combs clearly so I can't tell what type is it. If it's single maybe it's a light Sussex? The buff Columbian pattern is making me think the red one could be a sex link, because you can use a light sussex and a red base rooster to get light red sex linked pullets that would carry over the Columbian pattern. They could also just be Easter egger type mixes. I'm honestly just so bad at this game. I'm sorry!

Haha scrolling through and this pic caught my eye, and just screamed Easter Egger to me. So who knows how many are just mixes that are going to be tough to call, and ultimately unimportant. Will be fun to see what color eggs these girls all lay!

They said they all came from brown eggs, if that helps. They were hatched locally at the co op so I’m assuming some could be mixed. They had buff orpington and red sex link and cuckoo Maran and ameracaunas and then they had “hybrids” which included any of these being mixed together: Delaware, red sex link, Rhode Island Red, buff orpington, cuckoo Maran, and black australorp.
