I agree. She's a handsome little Lemon Cuckoo Orpington x Rhode Island Red pullet. I can't believe the breeder sent a chicken egg with turkey eggs. They don't look anything alike. lol

Actually all the eggs we light brown and similar in size. We had no idea until she came out at 21 days.

I feel sorry for whatever hen laid the egg the chick hatched out of. If it can be compared in size to a turkey egg... jeez!

Turkey eggs are white with reddish-brown speckles. It sounds like none of them were turkey eggs.
