Im in the process of making sex links and today im 100% sure it took cause in this pic you can see the Red Links with the black stripe and then the white with the black stripe
And i read that to make a Gold Link you need a RIR roo with a RIW hen well i dont have RIW hens but i have WR hens i used them has the stock with a RIR roo to make the RSL and i was wondering could they be used to make the Gold Links as well? Cause i thought if they are not Gold Links then they are Ambers which i think is a beautiful chicken

Cause i thought the color pattern was about the same for RED and GOLD LINKS
RED on both links are HENS
WHITE with a hint of red on both links are ROOS

And yes, gold sex-links can be made by crossing a RIR roo, and a White Rock hen. In fact, that's the variety that I have right now. They're very tame and mellow chickens. Now if only they'd lay! (they're 17 weeks).
