one was perfectly fine for 3 days and then she was laying down barely breathing and her body had started to become stiff and the other she had a really bad matted eye there was no hope for her

Aw, sorry you had to see that. It's not what I was thinking though. When Otter said that a mother pet cat had most likely mated with a male (which is the most likely situation), I thought of how common it is for unvaccinated mom's to get FPV, and then to have kittens with cerebellar hypoplasia. A lot of vets and owners still mistakenly euthanize kittens with CH, even though most live healthy lives of a normal length. Glad that wasn't it.

i thought about that too i mean he is a very sweet kitten he rarely plays with toys or his brother unless he ticks him off enough to where they play fight he mostly just wants to cuddle on my shoulder and rub his head against my cheek as soon as he saw me the day i found him he ran to me and just started purring and rubbing on my face and shoulder i think he is attention starved maybe? cause his brother is different all he wants to do is play and run around i can tell when Chester grows up he will be a lap cat but seeing as how he was abandon the owner most likely showed him no kindness or affection

that kitten is NOT a siamese, because his brother (assuming they are littermates) is an orange tabby, and while oriental shorthaired do come pointed and other colors like tabbies, the likleyhood of someone dumping oritental shorthairs in a box is HIGHLY unlikey...

the kitten IS a colorpoint (marked like a siamese) but probably has little if any "pure" siam blood in him.
he simply looks like a siam because of his coloration...
which makes him a "color point domestic shorthair"

sry its a pet peeve of mine, the shelter down the way labels ALL their cats as whatever breed they resemble and charge higher fees for "purebreds" when the cat has no pureblood in them...
for example ALL blue grey cats are russian blue or russian blue mixes, anything pointed (like that kitten) is ALWAYS a siamese, black cats are always bombays, long haired cats are angora or part angora or persian, if it has blue eyes its "part siames" ect... anything pointed with long haire is a ragdoll or himilayan...*sigh*
COLOR is not BREED.

its false advertising...
unless both partents were siamese (and since the other kitten who is veyr litkley his sibling is not siamese marked, its not likely either partent was siam either...) then its just a domestic short haired with pointed markings.

in good news with a little tlc hes going to be an absolutly stunning little guy who should have no problem finding a home if your mother doesnt like him simply because of his color resembling a siam.

all simease have blue eyes

But not all cats with blue eyes are Siamese.

All rectangles are squares, but not all squares are rectangles. Math! I did find a use for you after all.
