What breed???

This girl came to us as a young adult. Nobody knew what breed she was and I would love some opinions. She's the only chicken I have that I'm unsure of. My guess was a welsummer ?? She lays a darker brown egg. Photos are not great but hopefully you all can see.

I don't think so. I have a Rhode Island Red and their colors are totally different. The unknown one has more coloring on her.

She does look like a welsummer or at least mixed with one, some don't always have a lot of yellow neck feather.

probably welsummer, I was thinking maybe a true heritage RIR they are just as dark as welsummers, but it could be a welsummer just without the yellowish neck feathers

yep wellsummer those new pictures really help, with her next to your RIR that top pic. shows the yellow in the neck feathers.
