What breed?

Hi! New chicken owner here. I would really like to know what breeds we have and how to tell if it is a rooster. We were told the top 3 are hens and the bottom one is a rooster. Thanks for any info!

First photo looks like a barred rock, rhode island red,and maybe a gold sex link. For the last picture, I need a picture of it standing to see. It could just be a hen witha large comb and wattles. Need to see if it has saddle or long tail feathers.

Yeah, I agree with Crazy For Chickens. Barred Rock and Rhode Island Red, most likely a Gold Sex Link. If the Barred Rock lays dark, almost chocolate colored eggs it could be a Cucko Maran, which looks similar to a Barred Rock. Best of luck with your chickens

I don't know how y'all can tell . What do you see or don't see to know the difference. I will have a lot of questions about a lot of things in the future so I apologize in advance

First pic... Red Sexlink "rear left", Rhode Island Red "rear right. The one is front is most likely a Cuckoo Marans with those white legs and darker barring. A Barred Rock would have slightly lighter color and yellow legs.

Last one is a crossbred.
