She's a game hen of some type. American or Old English may a mix of the two.

Game of some sort. How old is she? My understanding is that leghorns, even the hens have large combs. They also have white earlobes and it looks like your girls are red to me. I don't think leghorns are very broody, but games are very broody.

Sorry I'm just now replying but we don't know how old she is. We bought her from the flea market. I live in Georgia and the town I live in cockfighting is common.
