What breed?

There is a chance that the three chickens you posted pictures of could have 2 different fathers :D do you know if all 3 were from the same mother? The comb on the one that looks a good bit like a legbar could be from the pea comb father and the other two could be from a straight comb father. The Crest could have been passed down from either parent. In trying to remember about swedish flower hens and I do remember that sometimes they can have crests. They are lovely chickens no matter the breed :love

Yes the mother had a crest, thank you for the reply it was very helpful.

I would definitely agree, these chickens never got sick however a pure roger island red got sick in the time I had her

I had some reservations about hatching further because all but 1 of my hens are pure breed, full to oversized and my lil rooster is a Dutch-bantam-ish but he's so prolific, I decided to go full retard this season and see what happens. So far, it's been quite successful and everyone seems healthy and strong.

I've got a 8 weeks "gen" of 4 pullets doing really well and look like they'll be full size. 3 two weeks old reeking havoc and 5 hatching right now.
