I got them in July so around 10-11 weeks. And he/she acts male but besides that I can’t tell. These are my first chickens though. And ok good I was worried he/she was sick since it wasn’t growing as fast as the others.What's the age?
This is an easter egger, but I don't see any male characteristics. It looks like a pullet to me, from the pattern on the feathers (which is female), to the color in the face. I'd bet this chicken is in her late teens (in weeks) which is why she's starting to get red.
And yes, she has a pea comb, not an upright single comb. They're a little less obvious, but its there.
