Where did you get the chicks at? I got my first chicks at TSC almost a year ago and I wanted 6 buff Orpington and 2 black sex link and I got 3 buff Orpington 2 black sex link and 3 Cornish cross broilers. I was so confused as to why they grew so fast.

My friend got a meat bird as a chick a few years back. By 6 months old the dude was so huge his feet had open wounds and he had leg problems. My friend didnt over feed him either. Id cul him i he starts gettin health or issues with his body. Sometimes its best to cull them so they dont live in pain.

Also I went to my friends house and showed him the issues his bird had and he let me cull him so he didnt suffer any more.
