Thank you! I’m so happy the fluff will stay. That’s the reason we picked it. The cutest little derpy duck youll ever see. She (or he. It’s very quiet compared to our Pekin) trips over her own feet all the time and it’s hilariousCrested Rouen![]()

her feet are fine. She goes too fast and just stumbles. We are providing niacin. I don’t think it’s anything wrong w her. Just getting ahead of herselfAlso tripping over her own feet is something i would be concerned about. Are you providing a niacin supplement to her feed or are you feeding duck feed? Does she walk with her feet pointed inwards and overlapping?
Omg. That literally makes me so sad. I definitely won’t be breeding. That breaks my heart. Because hers just feels like feathers and not fattyYou're welcome!
I should warn you the crest is a genetic defect, you might want to read this thread-

She freaked us out one day because she started throwing her head back we’ve had chickens but these are our first ducks. The guy at tractor supply told us give them some Cheerios bc they had niacin. They didn’t want to answer the phone when I called to tell them what she was doing. So I called a different location. The lady was shocked they said that and told us to get niacin and pedialyte (unflavored) and she was fine within an hour. She just likes to try and catch up to the chickens so she stumbles sometimes when she has her head out too farOk ,sorry if i scared you. We have lots of ducklings come on here with leg problems due to the fact the owner wasn't providing extra Niacin to their diet.
