what breed???

This is called a different name but since it's a hybrid I just assumed it was a mystic maran... It looks exactly like my pictures... My girl is only 13 weeks so maybe she gets a small red comb and waddle as she matures...

Check bottoms of feet! It will be the only way to identify. Midnight Marans often have feathered feet, so it seems unlikely. I would also guess that it does not have fibromelanosis with those amber eyes, more likely comb is dark due to immaturity, so I find Svart Hona and Ayam Cemani to be highly unlikely.

Bottom of the foot indicates skin color. I looked up what Family Farm and Home carries. I find Australorp or Jersey Giant to be much more likely. It would definitely have foot feathering by now, but like you said, some do not have it. If foot coloring is pink/white, most likely Australorp, possibly the Midnight Marans. If it's yellow, Jersey Giant like you originally wanted.

I was just saying that because my brother said it looked like one!

The comb, & wattle color is just due to the Extention of black pigment. The comb, & wattles will turn red as she matures.

My Mystic Marans had the darker comb and wattles until she was around 15/16 weeks old. Now they are bright red and larger at a few days shy of 18 weeks. I was just going through some pictures to try and figure out when exactly it happened because it seemed like it just popped overnight.
