He almost looks half-way in between the two patterns. Maybe his pattern will clear up as he continues to mature and it will be easier to figure out?

He's just a poor looking Columbian pattern. It's common amongst hatchery birds. He'd be considered an incomplete Columbian, due to the pattern leak.

He appears to be of partridge base rather then Birchen like most Wyandottes tend to be.
