Hello! We were told this hen is a Welsummer, as a chick she looked like one. But now I can't find anything in the welsummer category that looks like her. Any idea what she is?

Agreed xxCockerel
Maybe an Easter egger? Just a guess. I would think he has some Amerucana genes, but i could be wrong. Best of luck!
PS: You can tell the chicken is a cockerel mostly because of the neck and by the part near the tail.
The neck feather bit, circled red, is called hackle feathers, and they are very pointy.
The bit by the tail, (saddle) is very pointy, and overflowing.
