I somewhat agree but there’s a few errors here. 3 isn’t an Australorp because it’s lacking the dark shanks and appears to have yellow skin. I suspect Black Sexlink. 5 is the specific Olive Egger called a Sapphire Olive Egger. 8 isn’t a Cochin. It lacks heavily-feathered shanks and has white skin. She’s a Black or Black Copper Marans1. Red sex link or starlight green egger, depending on egg color.
2. Looks like a production blue.
3. Black Australorp if all black, or black sex link if she has gold neck or breast feathers.
4. Rhode Island Red if she has a single comb.
5. Legbar based olive egger.
6. Possibly another production blue, this one looks splash though.
7. Production blue.
8. Black Cochin.
I stand corrected, thank you!I somewhat agree but there’s a few errors here. 3 isn’t an Australorp because it’s lacking the dark shanks and appears to have yellow skin. They were similar to what you all said, however the ones I know I was supposed to have were…I was thinking 8 looked to be a Black Langshan, based on black eyes, feathering only on outside of foot, and what appears to be a more upright tail. There’s also the white tipped feather. Looks exactly like what one of my chicks from this year looks like. I was thinking mine was a Marans at first but there is no red around the eyes or ears, and the white tip I was mostly seeing in pics of Langshans.
