I recently purchased unsexed Ameraucanna chicks from a reputable breeder in the Ameracanna Breeders Directory. They were to be WHEATON LARGE FOWL. So it stands to reason that as they develop there should be 2 different colors,,,but there are 3. The Roos have black feathers with white heads and look like miniature bald eagles. I call them roos because they are bigger at 5 weeks than the other 5 week olds. The rest are 2 different colors. I call one blonde and the other color type is grey. But if they are the same birds why 3 colors and not 2? Exactly what have I got here?
