I don't think they are purebred....was it a white egg? maybe brown leghorn crosses?

Okay, I'm looking closer and I see one with muffs? at least one with yellow legs? dark legs, and white legs? maybe they are not all the same crosses...you might have several different mixes...maybe they all had the same father and different hens..that is entirely possible

there is at least some EE in there and what sure looks like some type of game. the upright body posture, tight feathering, and color pattern looks game.
    very pretty

yes as i stood there today looking i notice there is 3 different color legs... yellow whit and grey?????? barnyard mix.. so will i be ok for some eggs.. the egg was white.. i couldnt be to picky there were given to me free... her daughter had talked her into hher into bringing home the chicks the claas at school hatched then they went to the store to get feed and came home with 14 more chicks.... lol oh then a hen hatched out 6 eggs.. so im guessing yes a mix of some sort are they ok for my first go around with them..... the DH is laughing at me cause im hoarding the egg i dont want to eat it... im to proud i guess you can say...lol

The first pic looks like she could be a sister to my hen! I was wondering what she was also...
