close up of two of the girls, hope this helps as I would really like to know what breed they are lol

even in pure breeds you will have slight egg differences IE size and shade or two in color its normal I can also tell which of my hens laid a egg and which didn't in some cases, but not all

I havent got a clue who is laying and who isn't, I've had them 2 weeks, for the first week I kept them in there coop, then week 2 I let them out first thing and then lock up when they go to bed,, I have a 2 year old so we are constantly checking on them, even got an egg yesterday that was still really warm, but no clue as to who is laying and who isn't, in the two weeks I have had, about 12 eggs from 3 hens

I don't think you can get a more definite answer. They're some sort of laying crossbreed. Red sex link. Red star. Hatchery Rhode Island Red.

Because hatcheries breed for quantity, not quality, you will end up with a bunch of similar chickens but not much breed conformity. And, when you breed for an egg layer, ie Red Sex Link, you get a ton of variety. Most common, red feathers with some white feathers and a brownish egg.

Glad you lock them up at night. Keep them safe!

These are identical to mine which are Isa Browns (a mixed breed I believe).. I do however have two very weird chooks that a will try to get everyone to identify on a different thread
