What breed?

He was our first rooster we ever had, hatched out from my daughters kindergarten class years ago. Sadly he is no longer with us but would love to know what breed he was. I assume he is a mix breed as I have done searches and have never come across anything that looks remotely close to him. This is the only picture of him that I have left.

I see that too, but the white in the neck keeps throwing me. I wished back then I would have asked the teacher for the name of the lady who gave her the eggs to hatch. He was a mean rooster, but very pretty! We got this guy, a red star hen and a white hen that has no tail or at the very least it curls under.

That would make sense, second generation RSL roosters and hens are both red and white colored.
