i have a hen which looks like a buff sussex but it lays blue eggs what is it ?

Sure does look like a buff sussex . The only thing is it has wrong leg colour to be buff sussex. My guess is that the father is a legbar or other blue egg layer. Thats a confusing one. Hatch some of its eggs and see what they come out like and that will help you.

I am guessing mixed breed pullet. If you are going to do a test breeding, find a buff sussex rooster to cross her with.
