What breeding projects are you working on or you want to work on.

Got another project going.
I bred a Easter Egger rooster (Blue/Red Splash) to a group of Naked Neck hens= Blue-Tailed Red rooster ('ll have to post a picture later). Bred him to some production Reds. I have 35 eggs in the incubator now. I will take the peacombed pullets from that hatch and brred them to a rooster that I have saved now another blue-tailed red (looks like). He is by a Blue Columbian Splash rooster (not related to the other) out of a group of Easter Egger hens.

What are you shooting for?

Farmers only worry during the growing season, but towns people worry all the time.

i want to make a breed with a silkie and a australorp since they both are really good mothers and go broody a lot but silkies don't lay very many eggs but australorps do so i want to make a really good mother and a really broody bird

Started out with a Blue-Red Easter Egger rooster over 10 Various colored Easter Egger Hens.
Out of this hatch (don't remember how many hatched) I got 1 Blue-Red Splash rooster and 2 Blue hens.

I breed the Blue/Red Splash rooster to a group of Various colored Naked Neck hens and got this:

I took the 2 Blue Easter Egger hens and breed them to a Buff Laced Polish rooster and got this:

Might not can tell it but she is crested. I all her my Paint Crested Easter Egger.

I then breed these two together ( cousins) and got this:

This is just showing four chicks there was a fifth one but still a little we s I didn't take it out yet and there are still 3 more eggs still trying to hatch.

I want to breed a hybrid/mutt that lays a truly pink egg. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start. I was thinking salmon faverolles, but I'm not sure how to proceed.
