What breeds and do they look healthy?

I feel like some of the yellow ones don't look healthy. They are eating, drinking and acting fine. Their feathers just look a mess. Also, a few of the yellow ones peck at me when I reach in to pick them up. Do you think this indicates being a male?? View attachment 1711173

1st pic looks like a cream legbar to me.
The yellow ones are buff Orpingtons.
As long as their food, water is fresh and their bedding is cleaned regularly they should be fine. Where did you get them ?

Ahhhh the teenager stage .

They look fine. Just growing feathers and losing down.

The pecking when you reach in is normal. Hawks come from above. They are preprogrammed to fear things coming from above. Since they are confined instinct says fight (Since flight is out of the question).

Hmm.. I've never known buffs to be grumpy. Thoughts? Also, what do you think of their feathers?

I don't think they are grumpy. I think reaching in from above scared them.

I think they look good. Just at that scruffy stage as feathers grow.

Easter Eggers and Buff Orpingtons. Look good to me.
