Thank you. An even split sounds good to me!1 (white): red sex link (either gold comet or ISA) mix cockerel
2 (black): red sex link mix pullet (RSLs can produce black and red chicks because they aren’t pure for dominant white)
3 (barred): barred rock mix cockerel
4 (bearded): barred rock mix pullet
Thanks for the genetic info! Very helpfulThey would not be pure barred rocks. However, about 50% of them would probably look like barred rocks. The other 50% would be black pullets and cockerels with a single copy of the barring gene (like your current cockerel). So, any black chicks would be pullets, but you wouldn’t be able to tell which barred chicks are pullets or cockerels from hatch.
