I picked up six assorted chicks from the fleet supply store (I believe store sources from Murray McMurray) on April 2nd to add to my flock. I am fairly certain about three of them: Black Cochin, Easter Egger, and Buff Orpington.
The remaining three I am not so sure on. Wondering if anyone has thoughts on the breeds of the remaining three (& thoughts on sex, although it is likely too early to tell):
Cora: She came from a bin that contained both Assorted White layers and Colored Egg Layers. She doesn't have the Easter Egger puffed cheeks. I haven't found any comparisons that have her spotted face and dark legs. Perhaps some sort of mixed breed Olive-Egger?
Cutie: I believe she might be a Speckled Sussex? She came from the Assorted Brown Layers bin
Snowy: Snowy came from the Assorted White Layer bin. I'm fairly certain she's a Pearl/White Leghorn. She was the classic yellow chick and now has all white feathers.
