Hello!
These two hens I cannot figure out what breed they are. I can't find any breed or breed combination that would give me a chicken like Squab (the brown and white one with ornate feather patterns). She has yellow legs and a walnut (?) Comb.
Fricky is all black with feathers that shine green, orange eyes, and has black feet and pink combs and waddles.
And Rotisserie is all orange except for a ring of black about her neck. She is the same shade throughout her whole body. She has a walnut comb and yellow legs I believe.

Squab is an Easter egger or EE mix.

I think Fricky is an Australorp or Australorp mix. Or maybe some type of hatchery layer hybrid, depending on where you bought her from.

Rotisserie is most likely a mix or hatchery layer hybrid. Could be some type of Easter egger, too.
Thanks! I thought about australorp for Fricasee but I wasn't sure, since her buddy is a black sexlink. Rotisserie is a hard one so any guidance helps. Squab is gorgeous but timid so I couldn't find any breeds like her.

Welcome to BYC?

Where did you get them?

If from a hatchery or farm store they're probably some kind of "egger" hybrid. If from an individual who wasn't selling specific breeds by name then they're probably backyard mixes.
I got them from a lady who was selling them this spring. She has a chicken farm but they aren't specifically bred. I know they're BYM but I needed at least direction for what Breeds may be in them for school, actually.
