Feb 28th we brought home 30 babies from the assorted chick bin at Rural King. I have figured out most of their breeds but there are a few I'm stumped on. Maybe you could help me determine some of them? Thanks in advance :)

1. Partial red chest

2. Very sweet. Loves to jump on my shoulders/head.

2a. Right after she jumped on my head selfie lol!

2b. She loves her picture being taken.

3. Rose comb. Super soft. Very colorful. Puffy, fluffy cheeks. Hen I believe. Perhaps an Araucana/Easter Egger???

3a. Her chest...mostly dark but still spotted with colors.

3b. Not a very good in motion picture but was trying to get her tail feather colors, too.

4. Gold Laced Wyandotte?

5. Another colorful one.

5a. He's a little timid but seems pretty good with the girls.

5b. Close up of comb. Rose comb or a double rose comb...I'm not familiar with rose combs as we've only had chickens with straight combs. He's a beautiful bird, nonetheless.

6. Silver Laced Wyandotte?

6a. I question a Silver Laced because she's got a little brownish/reddish coloring on her sides.

7. He's another pretty one but he's mostly dark colors.

7a.

8. Another roo. He is fairly sweet and very mild tempered. He likes to be in the corner alone and doesn't seem to bother any of the others. He is dark in color but looks almost like a RIR. What do you think?

1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 are Easter Eggers. 3 and 5 are cockerels. 4 and 7 are Gold Laced Wyandottes. 7 is a cockerel. 8 is a Production Red cockerel. 1, 2, 4, and 6 are pullets. The Easter Eggers have pea combs. The Wyandottes have rose combs.

Thank you! I knew EEs came in a variety of colors so I'm not surprised that most of these are EEs. I am, however, very surprised to hear that the dark roo is a Gold Laced Wyandotte...I would never have guessed that! Very interesting! I was supposed to have 2 or 3 Silver Laced Wyandottes but I didn't end up with any. I'm kinda bummed about that.

Can I ask you another question...the picture below is of a baby chick our of the same crew. But, what is it? It's grown now but a lot of my solid red ones look the same but are actually either a Production Red as you stated, an RIR or a different breed. Is this baby a Production Red?

I agree with all of these except number 8 which looks to me to be a bit fluffy for a Production Red cockerel. Does he by any chance have feathered legs? I can't see them in the pic.

It looks like a Production Red chick to me.

No fluffy legs. Only my Light Brahma's have the fluffy legs. He's got pale legs.

This is one of my RIR Roos that we don't have anymore...he legs look more yellow rather than pinkish and he's definitely not as fluffy as my current roo.

It's amazing what a difference a different pic of the same bird can make. Seeing this pic, I agree with junebuggena; he's a Production Red Rooster.

It is crazy! I always try to get more than one picture if I can because sometimes even sunlight and no sunlight can make the difference. Thanks for your input. I will now just assume he is a Production Red!
