I ordered some chicks from Ideal and they sent me 16 (!!!) males for warmth. I know what most are but a couple I'm not sure about.

Chick #1 has a white mask around his face and clean legs.

Chick #2 is a bantam with feathered legs. He's larger than chicks 3-5 though.

Chicks #3-5 are tiny and to be all the same breed. One is a typical chick yellow, one is white, and one is yellow with a black dot on the top of his head. (I put the standard chick for comparison) They are clean legged

Chicks #6-7 I think are Wyandottes but I'm not sure.

I don't think they are japanese since they aren't fluffy at all like those. They are very tightly feathered.
I do think that #2 is a light brahma though. I always wanted one!
Could #1 be a quail belgian d'anver?

Kinda looks like a quail

What kin of comb does 2 have? If it's a single it's cochin, it's flat then it's a brahma

My japs were tiny and tight when they arrived, these pics are five days old lol. Do they appear to have shortish legs? Do thave a single comb? Single comb would be japs, flat might be buff laced seabrights. My seabrights were gold laced and the looked very very not fluffy lol

What kind of combs do the last ones have?
