What breeds are these?

Cream Legbars have a tuft on their heads, neither of those girls look like a CCL. Pretty poor show to get those from a breeder IMO! They are very pretty however and I'm sure you will enjoy them just the same.

Update.. would you believe that we actually got our first "blue" egg this morning. Very exciting news

so it must have come from one of these two and I think it was the darker one.

Sorry, Crested Cream Legbar.

I am wondering if perhaps they are Cotswold Legbars. That would explain the colour difference but still laying pastel eggs. Congrats on the blue egg though, they are always a fun addition to the egg bowl!

Went a chicken show yesterday and bought 2 more. A proper crested legbar and a silver grey Dorking. Beauties!!

And I think you could be right about the Cotswold Legbars.

I would suspect out of the two the second one would be the EE out of those two.
