What breeds are these?

Hi! I have four 7 week-old chicks and I'm not really sure what breeds a 2 of them are. So, I was hoping somebody could help!




This is the first one, Eleanor, right now (7 weeks old)




This is her when she was a little less than a week old (on the right)

Pretty girls. They look like Easter Eggers (EE) to me since I am seeing a small beard and muffs and greenish legs. EE are non-standard Ameraucana-type birds that the hatcheries sell as Amer'i'canas or Araucanas. Where did you get these beauties? Typically they will have greenish legs, a pea comb and a beard and muffs but not always. They also may lay green or blue eggs but that is also a crap shoot since they have been infused with other breeds presumably to increase production. I have an EE and she lays jumbo pinkish (really tinted) eggs and has a wonderful personality.

Ok, great! Thanks! Our local 4-H does embriology projects at schools and my mom picks the chicks up after they've hatched. So they let us keep a few from one of the pick-ups.

- The eggs came from University of Delaware, though. (Mom)
