So I was just looking through a thread of pictures from Meyers and I think I got the wrong breeds of chickens!!
This is Banana- She is supposed to be a Buff Orpington- But she's not is she? For that matter, is she even a SHE?

And this is CeCe and she is supposed to be a Blue Andalusian, but the older she gets the less "Blue" she looks

.... and once again I pray she is a girl.

What are their ages?

I'm not as familiar with how the coloration comes out on the Andalusians, but CeCe looks girlish to me. Banana is definitely not a BO, hehe

Quite a cutie, though. (She) looks similar to a Delaware, but don't take my word on that. I've been really off lately.

Banana looks like a hatchery quality Delaware.

When hatcheries (or anyone selling chicks) sell "blue" birds, you have a chance of getting blue, black or splash. So the bird may be a black andalusian, hard to tell from the pics.

They look like pullets so far, how old are they?

They are 13 weeks old. Its funny because Meyers only has Blue Andalusians but CeCe doesn't look Blue to me at all. I pray atleast the Girl part is right! I had 15 babies at one point and had 10 boys come out of that!! My turken/cochin mix is the oldest hen (approx 8 months ) and all her sisters are on another farm and have been laying for 3 weeks and she's not!

breeding a blue to a blue can give you one of the following colors: blue, black, or splash. also sexing isn't 100% accurate (more like 90%) so you could very well end up with a cockerel and if you received any extra you can also expect those to be cockerels as well

Thanks for explaining the Blue deal. I only ordered 4 chicks from Meyers and I am pretty sure they are all girls. When I realized I didn't have a BO, I started doubting everything!
