I would be very happy if she was a true BCM!
I wonder if she could have some Ayam Cemani in her? She looks sort of like a Zombie chicken with the dark coloring.
I got them from a guy that said he had too many and needed to get rid of some. He said they were Rhode Island Red (not pictured), Americana (behind the Maran in picture 2), a Maran (picture 1 and 2), and Silverudd (picture 3). Maran does not have an extra toe and neither does the supposed Silverudd.. just hard telling what kind of Maran she is (wishing still a BCM).. and the supposed Silverudd doesn’t look like any pictures I could find. Sc_chickengirl might be on to something about maybe she is crossed with something? He didn’t say where he got him from so that hasn’t helped with narrowing anything down!

She is in a pen full of “Chocolate Eggers” from cackle that are at 19 weeks tomorrow and not laying yet or getting red in their combs either! I do have some “Sapphire Sky” girls that are the same age and have been laying their green eggs for about a week or 2! Will be interesting if I can tell everyone’s eggs apart from the green of the Sky girls, the potential green of a Silverudd, the mystery color of the Americana/EE girl, the hopefully BCM, and the Chocolate Eggers! Fun fun!! Will snap some pictures when they do start laying!Welp, it will make it exciting when they lay their eggs not knowing what to expect! I have a mystery chicken that I'm hoping surprises me with blue eggs, but she's not even remotely pinking up in her comb at 19 weeks like her flock mates
