Which breed of rooster is this?

I purchased black stars, black copper marans and midnight majesty marans from the feed store. One of them turned out to be a rooster. Could you please help identify what breed the rooster is? He is about 16 weeks old.

I don't think it is any of those breeds. Both black sex link males and Midnight majesty males would be barred, and a black copper Marans should be red and black without the white and pale gold feathers. So maybe an olive egger or some other hatchery hybrid.

It looks like a mix to be honest. Could be a lot of different breeds, I wouldn't like to guess!

He doesn't look like a male of any of the breeds you mentioned. I'm leaning on some kind of EE, or a barnyard mix.
