Your red chick is from the RIR mother...if Wyandotte father, the chick will have a rosecomb as rosecomb is dominant over single. If not rosecomb, then the RIR was the father. (And it is within the variations of a RIR chick look....the darker red chick.)

Lighter chick with leg feathers is from the Brahma mother. If I knew the colors of the Brahmas, I could have some educated guesses. It doesn't appear to be a pure breed Brahma chick as it is the wrong color for any of the common Brahma colors (Light, Dark, or Buff), unless you are using 2 different Brahma colors, and the leg feathers aren't as heavy as I would expect from a pure Brahma. If you used a Light Brahma hen, and it was the RIR rooster, you produced sex linking ..and that would be the female color. Take a look at the comb. Is it pea? It may need to develop to tell. Pea is dominant over the RIR (but if Brahma different color dad, it would be pea as well..but that again is lighter leg feathers, so I'm doubting Brahma dad). If the Wyandotte is the father, it will likely have a walnut comb (rosecomb x peacomb = walnut). Also it will likely gain some lacing from the Wyandotte, though incomplete, but you won't see that until it grows adult feathers.

But knowing your Brahmas colors in the equation and what the comb type the chick appears to have would give better educated guesses for that one.

For the red chick i can get a pic of the comb, would it hatch with a rosecomb or develop one?

For the lighter chick, all of the possible Brahma parents are light Brahmas. I didn't think the dad was a Brahma because when i did the wing sex check ( it's a girl ) the feathers coming out on it wings aren't black and white but black and a tan cream like color. I can also take a pic of the comb if you need.

Though, that Wyandotte doesn't get to mount the rir hen a lot, it mostly just the the rir roo.
