I thought frizzle was a coat type, not a breed <.< This whole chicken thing is an entire world...

Yes for the most part, any chicken breed/ mix can be frizzled. Most tend to be a cochin, But I can't say for sure that was the frizzled breed used to make your guy. I know most use a frizzled cochin though to make sizzles.
