What breeds DON'T lay a ton of eggs?

Strange request, I know.

I'm planning my order for next year and need to get some hens this time that don't lay like its going out of style. There are three people in my family and I have two people who buy from me. I don't need seven to eight eggs a day.

I need a breed or breeds that does well in extreme heat (it can get over 100 here), but is not a laying machine!
