What breeds look like barred rocks as chicks?

I have just hatched a mystery egg and the chick looks very much like a barred rock chick bit the place I got it from doesn't have barred rocks.....

Dominiques or cuckoo marans will also look barred. Do you know what breeds the place you got them from does have? if the chick is barred one of it's parents would have been barred. What coloured egg did it hatch from? feathered or clean legs?

I have a barred rock/ australorp mix that looked a lot like your chick.

Can you get a picture of it's comb? It looks a lot like a dominique but a comb picture will help know for sure.

Looks to me like a std single comb
