What breeds of chickens do you have?

This ones really like a wild animal...worse lol....I believe if chickens have mental disabilities, this one certainly has it lol! She actually believes she's going to be eaten or something...

They are an ancient breed originating in India over 2500 years ago. They are the first breed of Gamefowl that were owned by royalty. They are a hard feather breed and are just one of the breeds of Asian Gamefowl. They look like dinasours and are very tame and very disease resistant. The cock in my avatar is a Pure Asil of the Atkinson strain. I consider myself a preservationist and will continue to keep the breed alive. They are rare and not readily available. There are a lot of so called Asils that are peddled but are not true genuine Asil. Hope this helps

Ya she takes them....she pecks the crap out of my hand. I spend so much time with my chickens, this one just seems to be truly terrified. I got some chicks from a "Breeder" and this was one of them. I got this one at 2 days old so I doubt it was the breeders handling and housing conditions (they were real bad). I think she's just like scared with anxiety. I've had some issues to overcome with some of her chicks that were 4 weeks old. Looking back I shouldn't have purchased and enabled this person to breed but, I felt bad for the conditions and thought I was doing a good thing for the chickens, to give them a good life. They're all healthy and happy now, except this little scaredy girl who has some lasting effects? Maybe? Or maybe this is just her personality.

That's a shame! I had the same experience when I was shopping for chicks. A local store had really bad conditions but I decided to buy from somewhere else. It could just be her personality, considering my girl is really skittish and came from somewhere that she was well taken care of.

Ya, it definitely could be personality. I did learn a good lesson though to not buy from people not properly taking care of their animals. It's enabling them to continue their abuse and bad behavior.
