She might just be a Sapphire Gem with a LOT more gold leakage than normal. She's certainly got blue in her feathers, a single comb, and lays brown eggs.

Tells me she's some sort of mix. Likely an Egger mix.

I'm waiting for them to come after me. I can't help myself though. It drives me crazy.

When you say mystery chick, do you mean they sent an extra chick in addition to the ones you ordered? (I know some hatcheries do that, and some don't.)
