So we've actually has these girls for quite a while, but we don't actually have a clue what breeds they are, so i'm curious
We've got this lovely girl, Belladonna. Though looking at breed reviews i'm pretty sure she's an australorp. Very friendly, she follows me around the coop. We used to have a few hens like her, but the older ones died over the winter. Belladonna might actually be a mix of one of them and our orpington rooster
We've go this old girl, excellent mother and notorious escape artist (which is how she became a mother in the first place. Escaped the run, turned up a month later with 14 chicks! She's also in the Naughty Cage until we find all her escape routes). I'm curious about her breed. We were told she was a 'bantam mix' when we got her, but I do doubt that because she's a good size chicken
Doesn't currently have a name, other than 'that bloody chicken got out again', so if you have name suggestions I'd love to hear them
And lastly these two girls, black with gold lace. They're both bigger than the brown girl, but not my much. Our orpington rooster might also be their father, but I'm not 100% sure about that
Their backs are also very bare and scruffy from the roosters from the brown hen's lot of chicks. A neighbor took them off our hands, so the hens will start to recover now
These girls also don't have names, so suggestions would be welcome
