What breeds?

Just got these today from tractor supply they were an assortment of bantams i was wondering if anyone could tell me the breeds? Tia. There were supposed to be silkies in the mix but i dont know if we got there in time to get some.

Unless you are really familiar with chick colorings, like Gray Farms, then they really are too young to accurately tell. Although the first I think is a RIR, and the second is definitely a Cochin, looks to be Mottled. I'm not sure on the second. Probably is an OEGB, but there are so many colors for those, who knows!

I don't really have much to add, but I wanted to mention that if you're looking for silkies in mixed bins, they have five toes and feathered legs- I'm sure you know, but I thought I'd say something if you're looking for them next time.

Thats alot of help i ended up picking out a bunch of cochins thinking they were silkies

And if the OEGB indeed turns out to be Crele (which it certainly looks to be), you have a cockerel. These are an auto-sexing color variety. :) You're blessed, they're handsome little men! :love

So theyre both males? Ive got six that i know of already and about 40 or more that are too young to know yet lol i get carried away when they have chicks at tsc
