Game pullet with an apparent broken wing. I have taped it up so she doesn't drag it. Is there any hope that it will get better? Also, I have a young hen that I know was hit by a hawk. One of her wings is injured but it doesn't drag as much as the pullets. Both chickens have very bright red combs normally but as compared to the healthy girls, their combs seem pale almost faded (? internal injuries). Both are eating and drinking but are less active. I have them segregated from the rest of the flock. The pullet has been like this for about a week, the hen just a couple of days. Anything else to do but watch and wait. That hen is my favorite and I hate to lose her.
