Ok I have a problem. I'm to go into lockdown on Tuesday. Problem is my brother had brain surgery Thursday and there were complications as of today Saturday he is still not awake. The hospital is 2 hours away from me and I just got home tonight. I plan to go back when he wakes up and will stay in a hotel near the hospital. What do I do if it's about hatching time. I love my chickens but my family comes first. If the chicks hatch on a friday and I don't come home until sunday will they survive??

I believe chicks can stay in the incubator for about 48-72 hours after hatching. They still have the yolk to absorb so they should be good for about 3 days.
