Can I feed my chickens cooked veggies and old hotdog buns
yes ma'am mine get thier regular feed and scraps
Oh, yes! You can also hang up a raw cabbage in your coop, and they will eat through that, you can feed them most of your table scraps each day. (Moldy and rotten things are not the best though) Exept tomato leaves (tomatoes themselves are fine) and peanut butter.
The BYC chicken treat chart has a list of things that chickens can/will eat, at the very end there are a few things you shouldn't feed them. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/chicken-treat-chart-the-best-treats-for-backyard-chickens
Chickens really are feathered pigs.
They will eat almost everything.
Chickens can and will eat anything. In my time of keeping chickens I have only found one thing that they don't like, onions.
