? - perhaps it's a phrasing issue, but "chick grit" refers to the small pieces of rock that are provided to allow birds to build them up in the gizzard to aid in digestion by grinding and not something you actually use as a food for them. Are you maybe meaning you are out of starter/grower feed?

You can always give them finely chopped hard-boiled egg and some finely chopped kale. Very good and healthy things for ducklings and will tide them over until you can get more starter for them. Just don't give them the egg when they also have the starter to eat because then they'll be getting too much protein.

You can take a look here-->https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/242460/the-ultimate-list-of-duck-treats-and-supplements for things you can feed as treats or anytime you get in a pinch. There are many veggies that ducklings can eat, but you do need to remember to chop them very, very fine, depending on the age and size of the ducklings. Some fruits are okay for them as well as long as they're chopped, but I don't have much luck with any of mine wanting to eat fruit.

Sweet peas are a good treat! Just don't feed any white potato, citrus fruits, mango, or avocado. All bad news for duckies. ...well, Mango can be okay but it can potentially cause problems so best to steer away from for now.
