Looking to plant some things for my girls...out of the ordinary plants for me. We've got papaya, mango, avocado, pineapple, liliko'i--stuff like that already going. What do some of you grow strictly for your girls? Is there such a thing?

I'm in a completely different climate but to answer your question I plant, depending on season Austrian peas, radish, 7-top turnips, alfalfa, ladino, buckwheat, flax, sorghum, etc.. Anything that is succulent when it emerges. Also oats, wheat and barley.

Awesome, I can probably grow all of this but will look into it. Thank you! Does aloe count as a succulent?
