What can I make so children can see eggs hatch?

I would like to make something for my classroom chicks to hatch in. I have a LG incubator but the window is so small for 20 children to watch. Could I use a small fish tank with heat lamp or maybe a amall rubermaid tub with light for heat? Any ideas? Thanks

Can you hook up a camera and then show the hatch on a tv screen? That would be a good way to avoid bumping the bator...

Plus, you could have it playing continuously while you do regular lessons.

Look at my homemade bator thread.

You can make one and use it as a hatcher in the last 3 days of hatch. Put in a bigger window, on the sides possibley so they can see in.

You still have to keep the temps regulated and the humidity up. Schools often cool down at night and you might have a temp spike. so you would need to let it run several nights and check the hi and low temps with a digital thermometer.
